New Casino offering Slots in Vegas – the Cosmopolitan

Las Vegas sees the arrival of a new casino – the Cosmopolitan this Wednesday and hopes the newcomer will boost visitor figures to Las Vegas like the new casinos used to. Casino slots by the thousands and thousands of other games other than slots but will the Cosmopolitan find tourists eager to try this new gambling hub or will it suffer like the last major opening the CityCenter.

In 2009 MGM Resorts International launched the CityCenter with 67 acres of gambling and hotels but has failed to complete all the hotels, is struggling to sell a number of condos and found the Aria Hotel less than appealing to visitors and regulars alike. They did this year announce the opening of the Phil Ivey room for high stakes poker. Ivey is one of the kings of Vegas and well known for his poker, his high roller lifestyle and his propensity to dump millions playing craps.

MGM Resorts and all the casinos in Las Vegas will have been buoyed by last week’s financial announcements which showed that October trading rose by 16% year on year. Even this news is tempered by the fact that last year was a horrendous year in Vegas!

The casino slots in Las Vegas have been busier recently and that is some great news for the casinos and with fantastic new casinos like the Cosmopolitan the future does look bright for this great city.
