# D’Alenbert System – A method designed to increase your chances of winning.
# Deal – Card term for when a deck is held and the cards are given to players for the game.
# Dealer – The casino employee that will deal you the cards for the game.
# Deuce – A two in a dice throw.
# Dice – Two cubes with numbers 1-6 on each side.
# Die – Singular for dice i.e. one dice
# Dime – A $10 casino chip
# Dime bet – A $1000 wager.
# Discard Tray – A tray that is placed near the dealer, which the used cards are placed on.
# Dollar Bet – A $100 wager.
# Don’t Come Bet – Placed after the first come out roll, in craps it is the same as a Don’t Pass wager.
# Double Down – A wager option in Blackjack. This allows the player to double his bet after receiving the first card. If the card beats the dealers’ card then the player has a return of double the original bet.
# Double Up – A gambler will do this if he has lost a previous hand, in order to try and regain his money he will place double the amount he wagers. This is called the Martingale System.
# Down to the Felt – Slang term for having run out of money.
# Draw – A poker term for getting a final card to complete a hand.
# Drop – The money that you lose in your gambling play.
# Drop Box – A secure place to hold chips and funds on the gambling table
